National Archives of Ireland adds link to Irish Origenes website

The data used to construct the surname distribution maps (nearly 5,000) was taken from the 1911 census of Ireland. It is with great pleasure that I received the news that the National Archives of Ireland have provided a link to Irish Origenes from the Genealogy Resources webpage. Their web site is an excellent resource and I have to commend them on the fantastic job they did with the online 1911 and 1901 census data. Its lay out is straight forward and easy to browse, I have see others that are overly complicated. It was its simple layout and browsing options that made my job of producing the surname distribution maps so much easier. Keep up the excellent work!
